Community used to be the best part of the job. Lately, it feels like the opposite for a lot of us.
The moderation queue never ends. Leadership wants ROI numbers yesterday. The same questions pile up day after day. And the creative, human work that drew most of us to community in the first place keeps getting squeezed out by spreadsheets and support tickets.
Join Jacob Harris, Customer Success at Bettermode, for a live 1-hour session on how AI can handle the grind so you can get back to the work that actually matters. You'll leave with specific tactics you can put to use the same week, not theory.
Here's what we'll cover:
1. How to use AI to reclaim your time ⏳ Practical walkthroughs of AI-powered moderation, automated community digests, and escalation flagging that cut hours of busywork every week. No engineering team required.
2. The ROI framework leadership actually wants 📊 How to measure and present community ROI beyond vanity metrics. Ticket deflection savings, retention impact, content value, and a monthly report you can automate with Claude.
3. How your community is secretly an SEO and AEO engine 🔍 Your members are creating long-tail content that ranks on Google and gets cited in AI Overviews. We'll show you how to amplify that without lifting a finger.
4. A first look at Toggy 🤖 (Bettermode customers and partners) We're previewing Toggy, our new AI moderation agent that triages, flags, and resolves routine stuff before it ever hits your queue. You'll see it live, get the rollout timeline, and have a chance to ask anything.
5. How to bring the fun back to community work 🥳 With AI handling the repetitive stuff, here's what community pros are doing with their reclaimed time: creative campaigns, member spotlights, events people actually look forward to.
This session is for:
Community managers spending more time on moderation than on connection
Customer marketers looking for a growth channel they can actually measure
CS and success leaders evaluating community-led support strategies
Anyone who misses the part of community work that used to feel energizing
The session is open to everyone. Bettermode customers and partners get the bonus Toggy preview and Q&A.
Following the launch of our new Administration Panel 2.0, we've also been working on our Analytics. The new admin experience set a new standard for how you manage your community, and now it's time to bring that same level of quality to the reports and insights you rely on every day.
Here's where we are and where we're headed.
Baseline Performance Improvements -> Shipped
We've already shipped the first batch of improvements to Analytics, enhancing the platform to establish a strong baseline performance. Reports are more reliable, more scalable, and more functional across the board. These are the kinds of upgrades you'll feel every time you open your dashboards: faster load times, smoother interactions, and a foundation that's built to handle whatever you throw at it.
Things are noticeably better, but we'll be the first to say it's not yet where we think it should be. And that's exactly why we're not stopping here.
Next-Level Performance -> Coming This Month
The second wave is actively being built and will roll out over the next month. This batch moves Analytics to the new version of our infrastructure platform, unlocking the next level of performance, a step change from the baseline we've just established.
Expect reports that are noticeably faster, sharper, and more responsive. We're on track and building fast.
On the Roadmap: A Complete Analytics Overhaul
Now, the big one. We're reimagining Analytics from the ground up.
The current reports section has served us well, but we know it can be so much more, more insightful, more actionable, and more tailored to the way you actually run your community. A completely new analytics experience is on our roadmap, and we're excited to build it.
But before we go heads-down, we want to hear from you. You're the ones in these dashboards every day, and nobody knows better what's missing, what's frustrating, and what would be game-changing.
Tell us: What metrics matter most to your community? What do you wish you could see on your dashboard that you can't today? What insights would actually change how you make decisions?
Drop your ideas, wishes, and must-haves in the comments below. We're reading every single one, and your input will directly shape what we build.
We've been heads-down building and today I'm beyond excited to pull back the curtain.
The Bettermode Administration Panel has been completely reimagined, and it's the most significant upgrade to the admin experience we've ever shipped. This move will simplify your life and pave the way for our AI-first administration, which is about to come.
We're hosting a live walkthrough on Monday, April 13 at 2:00 PM ET where we'll demo everything in the new panel and take your questions. Don't miss it, register below!
Let me walk you through what's changing and, more importantly, why.
Three Dedicated Modes. Zero Confusion.
If you've ever felt like administration, design, and moderation tasks were all tangled together — you're not alone. We heard you, and we fixed it.
The new panel introduces three distinct modes, each purpose-built for the work you need to do:
Administration Mode: Manage settings, members, integrations, and everything that keeps your community running.
Design Mode: Customize layouts, themes, branding, and visual elements without wading through admin settings.
Moderation Mode: Review flagged content, manage reports, and keep your community healthy. All in a focused, distraction-free workspace.
Each mode gives you a dedicated space so you can focus on one job at a time, without tools and options from other workflows getting in the way.
Always Know Where You Are! New Breadcrumb Navigation
We're introducing a breadcrumb navigation bar across the entire admin experience. At any point in time, you'll know exactly where you are, which space you're in, and how to get back.
No more getting lost three levels deep in a settings menu. Context is always one glance away.
Design Mode: A Dedicated Canvas for Customization (Desktop)
Design Mode on desktop gets its own dedicated screen with significantly more room for the live preview, powered by a new tree view navigation on the side. This means you can navigate your site structure while seeing exactly how your changes look — all in one view.
On top of that, all Site Appearance menus are now consolidated in one place. Themes, colors, typography, layouts — everything you need to shape how your community looks and feels is right there, no jumping between screens.
Switch Between Communities in Seconds
Managing multiple communities? You no longer need to jump to a separate panel to switch between them. The new panel lets you switch communities right from where you are instantly, without losing your place.
It's a small change that saves a massive amount of time for anyone running more than one community.
Everything Front and Center. No More Deep Menus.
One of the biggest frustrations we've heard is that critical settings were buried deep inside Designer Studio menus. In the new Administration Mode, we've pulled all of those settings out of the depths and into clear, organized tabs right in front of you.
What used to take five clicks now takes one. What used to be hidden is now obvious.
General Settings, Centralized and Solidified
We've completely reworked the General Settings experience with a consistent, unified design. Every setting now has more room to breathe — more space for the functions that matter, laid out in a way that makes everything easy to find at a glance.
No more hunting across scattered menus. It's all centralized, cleanly organized, and built with a design language that feels cohesive from top to bottom.
Mobile-Ready Admin Experience
And finally, all of this is mobile-responsive (Not yet to the quality that we want it to be, but you can manage your communities on the fly.). Whether you're managing your community from your desk or on the go from your phone, the new admin panel adapts beautifully.
Moderation queue on your morning commute? Quick setting change from your tablet? It all just works now.
What's Next
This is just the beginning. The new Administration Panel lays the foundation for a faster, smarter, and more intuitive management experience, and we have a lot more planned on top of it.
We can't wait for you to try it.
As always, your feedback shapes what we build. Let us know what you think.

What a turnout for our Easy Events Launch Party!
A massive thank you to all of you who attended.
We're still buzzing from the incredible engagement and fantastic questions.
If you missed the live session, don't worry! We recorded the whole thing so you can experience the launch and see Easy Events in action.
Watch the full walkthrough where Ami Asadi and Jacob Harris showcase everything you need to know about Easy Events.
See for yourself how we've made creating and managing events simpler and more powerful than ever.
We’re kicking off the 2026 with a big one: Native Events (aka Easy Events) is now published here in the Bettermode Hub, so you can explore the look & feel and see how it works in a real community experience.
To celebrate (and make it available to all of our customers), we’re hosting a Launch Party + live walkthrough, and you can RSVP using Bettermode’s Easy Event embedded below (yes, we’re showing off event embeds 😉):
What you’ll see in the webinar:
How to create, publish, and manage an event end-to-end
Recurring events with per-occurrence RSVPs
How to embed events in posts with live, auto-updating event cards
And much more...
We can’t wait to share Easy Events with the community this January!
We’ve tightened the experience across the board: clearer language, dependable emails, smarter moderation, and worked on performance.
And the big one: Native Events is about to land. End-to-end creation, view-vs-attendance insights, post embeds, hybrid (in-person & virtual) support, and recurring RSVPs.
Quick sneak peeks 😎:
Fixes & Improvements
Localization – Canadian French added & German copy refined
Canadian French is now available across the core product and notifications, and we’ve polished numerous German strings.
Custom Apps – Fully clear saved code
You can now reliably remove custom code from the head/body sections of a custom app. Previously, deleted code could reappear after navigation or refresh; blanks now persist as expected. This gives developers tighter control when rolling back experiments, eliminates “ghost” behaviours, and makes debugging safer.
Email Digests – No more empty sends
Communities get higher trust and better engagement because every digest delivers real value.
Moderation – AI spam detector respects approvals
The spam system now better learns from moderator actions and avoids re-flagging legitimate posts that have been approved. This reduces false positives, cuts repetitive moderator work, and keeps genuine contributions visible.
Performance – Database scaling & throughput
Backend database upgrades improve scaling under load and increase throughput for read/write operations. Members experience faster page loads and steadier performance during spikes, while admins see smoother processing of background jobs and notifications.
Coming Soon: Native Events
As described above, we’re almost ready to roll out our Native Events module to a small set of customers for final testing and polish—then straight to production.
We’re committed to getting Events right, and we’re grateful to the customers who helped us shape it with feedback. We’re aiming for a short test cycle and final touches.
End-to-end creation — Plan, publish, and manage an event in one streamlined flow—set details, visuals, capacity, and reminders without leaving Bettermode.
Views vs. attendance analytics — See the full funnel at a glance: page views, RSVPs, so you can understand views vs. attendance and optimize what works.
Embed events in posts — Drop live, auto-updating event cards directly into posts.
In-person & virtual support — Run events anywhere: add venues and maps for on-site sessions or meeting links for virtual ones.
Recurring events with per-occurrence RSVPs — Create a series and let members RSVP to specific dates; manage capacity and reminders for each occurrence.
…and so much more.
New Enhancements
Zapier: Draft & Schedule Support: You can now draft and schedule posts using the Zapier integration, giving you more control and flexibility when automating content creation.
Cookie SDK for Custom Apps: A new Cookie SDK is now available, helping developers ensure cookie compliance when adding custom scripts to their apps.
Cookie Consent App Update: The cookie consent app has been updated and now works seamlessly with other official apps such as Google Analytics.
Fixes & Improvements
Make.com Private Message Fix: Fixed an issue where private messages sent via Make.com were not going through unless a prior message existed—now fully functional.
Sticky Comment Box on Mobile: On mobile, the comment box now sticks to the bottom of the screen, improving responsiveness and encouraging quicker engagement.
Improved SSO Email Conflict Messaging: The error message shown when a user tries to join a community with an email that already exists via SSO has been made clearer and more helpful.
Coming Soon
Events: our team has been hard at work on a major release: a powerful event feature that will transform how you organize, promote, and run community events. Stay tuned

When we launched our enhanced AI-powered search with Ask AI, it transformed how members discover answers in your community. Since then, we’ve seen how powerful it can be, especially in communities that serve as a central hub for both user-generated discussions and official resources.
Now, we’ve taken it further. Our latest update gives you the ability to highlight your most trusted content and control exactly what appears in search results. Whether you're managing a knowledge base, a product portal, or a support hub, you can now ensure that vetted, accurate content always takes priority — right where your members need it most.
🎯 Why This Matters
Great search isn’t just about finding content — it’s about finding the right content, fast.
Until now, it wasn’t always clear which results were official, which were member-generated, and which should even appear in the results at all. That meant more noise, and less trust in search.
✨ What’s New
Official Resource Spaces
You can now mark specific spaces (e.g., “Help Center”, “Product Docs”) as official content sources. These results will appear in a highlighted section at the top of the search results — and are prioritized when generating AI-powered answers.
Search Sources Configuration
A new admin setting gives you precise control over what types of content show up in member-facing search results. You can now toggle Posts, Spaces, and Members individually. giving you the power to fine-tune the experience for your community.
💡 Why You’ll Love It
Surface What Matters Most: Highlight official knowledge so members can trust what they find.
Cut the Noise: Suppress irrelevant content types to streamline results.
Improve AI Answers: Bettermode’s federated AI search now uses only the sources you define as context.
🛠 Other Improvements
Upgraded AI model: Ask AI now runs on a more advanced model, delivering faster and more accurate responses.
Enhanced search ranking: Improved scoring logic to better balance semantic relevance and keyword matching.
Smarter tag and title handling: Tags are now indexed, and titles carry more weight to boost precision in results.
Federated Search integration: Results from external sources are now included as context for Ask AI, improving answer quality.
Navigation enhancements: Streamlined keyboard support and improved loading for a smoother search experience.
🚀 Try it Now
The new search experience is live. Head to Settings → Search to configure your sources and define your official content spaces.
Your search bar just got a lot smarter — and so did your community. 💙
