Spam filters aren't consistent - hurting SEO of our entire web property

Our Bettermode platform is a community support center so we often have new accounts that are created just to post a support question. We don't have a posting restriction for age of account because we rely on live user reports for bugs through our community.

We have a huge influx of spam coming in (10+ posts per day) that aren't getting caught by the spam filter.

Google's spam update and stricter rules for 3rd party hosted content makes stuff like this concerning since our help docs (located in Bettermode) might stop ranking in Google search. Even more concerning, they may ding our entire web property for promoting spam.

Are there any plans for engineering to improve the spam filter? We use the default spam words list in addition to manually adding words that we've seen often.
