I've been running my community on the root domain until I received the support notification to redirect to the www subdomain. I did that and it worked, but for various (historical links mainly) reasons I still need the root domain links to work. I have been in touch with my DNS provider (GoDaddy) and they have tried to do a redirect for me (as per the advice on Bettermode notification email, without success.
This is their message:
Please ask your hosting provider for the SSL service and to configure yourdomain.com on the webserver as well so you don't have to use webforwarding for yourdomain.com.

Is there a way to configure things that both the root and www subdomain remain active without losing speed and traffic?
