Hello Bettermode community. My name is Cassidy and I am the founder of a soon to be community or collective called the Breakaway Artist Society. I wanted to create this to provide resources, networking, and feedback to my local artists in my community.
My background is mostly in audio recording, production, and digital design. I am currently going for my BA in music production and helping my husband run his own business! We both have a love for community. Some of my favorite things about working in communities are sharing common goals, making connections with other people with unique skills, and the having access to support from people like you in your industry.
My Top 3 goals for my community:
Provide resources to artists for career building
Provide a space for constructive feedback
Provide a community that will encourage and support each other in the music realm
I have been trying to learn more about community building and engagement. I am still very new to this side of things but I am excited to learn. I am open to helpful resources that I can learn more from if anyone would like to share with me!
