The Design Studio (previously called the Customizer) is one of the most important areas of a community for an admin. This is where you’ll be able to configure the layout of each space by adding, removing, and configuring blocks.
You can access the customizer in two ways:
The long way:
1.1. Click on your profile picture
1.2. Select administration
1.3. Choose Design Studio from the far left menu
1.4. Select Collections and Spaces and select the space you wish to customize
1.5. Add, remove, and configure the layout and blocks to your preference.
The short way:
2.1. Navigate to the space you wish to customize using the left sidebar.
2.2. Once you have entered the desired space, press the shortcut key “C” to go directly to the customizer for that specific space.
2.3. Add, remove, and configure the layout and blocks to your preference.
Adding blocks
You can add blocks by hovering over any container block, pressing “…” and then selecting “add block”.
Removing blocks
You can remove blocks by hovering over any block, pressing “…” and then selecting “remove”.
Configuring blocks
You can configure the settings in any block by hovering over the block, pressing “…” and then selecting settings.
