Overview
The hero banner block is a dynamic block that captures attention with images, videos, text, and buttons. This block adapts to any screen size, and preview may vary accordingly. You can use this block to improve the design of a space, inform members, or prompt them to take a particular course of action such as searching or clicking a call-to-action button.
Configurable options
You can configure the following:
- Layout (choose from five options)
- Content height
- Banner background (image, video, or color)
- Text color and tint
- Icon
- Headings
- Description
- Alignment (left or center)
- Action type (search, button, or none)
- Search options
- Button variant
- Button link text
- Button URL (include https://)
- Open in setting
Add the hero banner block to a space
- Navigate to the space where you want to add this block.
- Press "C" to open the design studio for the space.
- Hover over any container block in the space.
- Select "add block" from the container menu.
- Select "Hero banner" from the block list.
