How to customize Spaces in Design Studio

Learn how to fully customize the layout, components, and blocks of each page using the Design Studio. For more information on customizing spaces, watch the academy video on branding and appearance.

Customize the design of a Space

1. Log in with your admin account, click your Profile Picture in the top-right corner, then select Administration > Design Studio > Collections and Spaces.
2. In Design Studio > Collections and Spaces, select the space you want to customize.

   Tip: Bettermode provides Space Templates to help you get started quickly. You can add, remove, and customize blocks and components in any space.

   Add a new block

   1. Find a container block or section block.
   2. Click the [+] icon to view all available building blocks.
   3. Select the desired block and customize it to your preferences.

   Remove a block

   1. Find the block you want to remove.
   2. Click the [...] menu to see options.
   3. Click Remove.

   Customize a block

   1. Hover over the block.
   2. Click the gear icon to open Settings.
   3. Adjust the available fields and options based on your needs. Each block offers different customization options.

   Copy and paste a block

   1. Hover over the block and click the [...] menu.
   2. Select Copy block.
   3. Find the space where you want to paste the block.
   4. Hover over a container block and click the [...] menu.
   5. Click Paste block.
3. Click Save Changes at the top right of the window to save your edits.
