Customize navigation
Your site has two main navigation areas you can customize:
- Top Navigation: The horizontal menu at the top of your site that displays top-level items. Add new items or modify existing ones.
- Left Sidebar: The vertical menu on the left side of your site. Add or remove items from the Main Menu, reorder Collections, change the View Style, and show or hide Collections.
Customize the top navigation
- Log in with your admin account.
- Click your Profile Picture in the top-right corner.
- Select Administration > Design Studio > Header and Sidebar.
- Hover over Top Navigation and click the gear icon to edit.
Configure top navigation settings
In the Top Navigation settings panel:
- Select one of the available Presets to choose a navigation style.
- Click the Sections tab to access these options:
- Logo: Choose the logo size or disable the logo.
- Actions: Enable or disable features such as Create Post, notifications, search, and main menu.
- Menu: Add menu items to the top navigation. You can also add sub-menu items to create a drop-down menu.
- Search Box: Change the search placeholder text, select what members can search for, or hide the search option.
- Mobile Menu: Customize how your navigation appears on mobile devices.
- Open the Sub Menu section to enable a secondary navigation row. This displays additional navigation items below the main top navigation bar.
- Click Save Changes in the top-right corner to save your edits.
Customize the sidebar
You can add additional blocks to your sidebar, such as a custom link menu with customized icons.
Collections menu settings
Configure how Collections appear in your left-side menu:
- View Style: Choose between Simple or Collapsible layouts.
- Change listing order: Drag and drop Collections within the Collections section to reorder them on your site's left-side menu.
- Show or hide Collections: Toggle the switch next to each Collection to show or hide it from the menu.
