Overview
The leaderboard block adds gamification to your site by displaying top contributors and their scores. Your members can see who the top contributors are and compete for the highest score. You can then decide how to reward top-performing members for their participation.
How members earn points
Members accumulate points through the following activities:
- 2 points for each post
- 2 points for each reply
- 1 point for each reaction
Recommended placement
Display this block in the right sidebar of your space for optimal visibility.
Configuration options
You can customize the leaderboard block with the following settings:
- Heading (title) — Set a custom title for the block
- Source — Choose whether to pull point data from your entire site or a specific space
- Number of members — Display between 1 and 20 members
- Default tab — Select which time period displays first: All time, Month, or Week
- Show score — Toggle member scores on or off
- Exclude admins & moderators — Toggle to remove administrators and moderators from the leaderboard
Add the leaderboard block to a space
Follow these steps to add the leaderboard block:
- Navigate to the space where you want to add the block
- Press "C" to open the design studio
- Hover over any container block in the space
- Select "Add block" from the container menu
- Select "Leaderboard" from the block list
