Zapier does support CMS Model (post field) values, but only after you've selected a specific Post Type (your CMS Model) during the Zap setup.

Once you choose the correct Post Type in the trigger (e.g., “Discussions”), Zapier will expose the fields configured in that CMS Model, so it’s important that the fields you want to access are already set up and aligned in your CMS Model settings.

If a field doesn’t appear in Zapier, it’s likely because it hasn’t been added to the model or the sample post Zapier is using doesn’t include data for it.

If you prefer to use the API or need more control, you can use Bettermode’s GraphQL API to retrieve post data and CMS field values programmatically. This is helpful for custom workflows beyond what Zapier supports.

Here's a sample query you can use to query CMS Model/Post Type Fields:

If you want to know how to get the CMS model/Post type IDs, Once you add or create a post, the Post ID will show up at the end of the URL like on this image below:

Or you can also query the CMS models to get the CMS model IDs. Here's a sample query you can use:

As for the add-on trial, The API/Webhook Add-on doesn’t come with a trial option. It becomes available after purchase or when it’s included in your plan. However, you can simply get the API/Webhook Add-on, use it, and cancel it at any time.
