Follow a room wich has the hero banner not the space header

Hi together,

all of our rooms have the hero banner like this with the search field.

But with that I cannot follow a space. At least I only found the follow button for the space in the space header. But I I use that then I have another huge block there which does not have the same design with the image on the right and the search field.

So what can I do that users can follow a certain room with the hero banner?
