There isn’t a built-in feature in the Bettermode UI to export posts from a space directly to CSV. However, this data can be retrieved via our API using the API add-on, which gives you full access to query post content, metadata, media, and more.

Natively, you can export a CSV of your members from the admin panel, but post-level exports are currently only available through API access.

Below is a sample GraphQL query you can use to retrieve posts and their associated metadata. This includes pagination, custom fields, media, tags, authorship info, and space association. (You can trim this down to only include the data you need.)

This query retrieves posts from Bettermode's API along with related details, including:

Pagination Info: totalCount, pageInfo (to manage fetching additional pages)
Post Details: id, slug, title, description, createdAt, updatedAt, reactionsCount, repliesCount, spaceId, status, locked
Mapping & Custom Fields: Metadata fields stored for each post
Media Attachments: Emojis, files, images associated with posts
Members: User data for those associated with the posts, including displayName, email, roleId, status, and username
Spaces: The community spaces where posts belong, including name, description, membersCount, and postsCount
Tags: Tags associated with posts (id, title, slug)

This query is useful for retrieving a list of posts with details about their authors, media, reactions, replies, spaces, and tags.

You can use our playground to run this (https://api.bettermode.com/). You'll need to generate an access token and use it in the headers.
Alternatively, you can run this from any local machine using Python/JavaScript, etc.

Tip: If your space has a large volume of content, we recommend simplifying the query and paginating results to stay within rate limits.

The complexity of this request will be high, so make sure you remove anything you don't need to avoid being affected by our rate limit enforcement.
