Add "Popular" sorting method or add more options to time filters for feeds

Considering

Currently, you can filter a post feed to only show posts published in the past 7 or 30 days. Combined with a sorting method of most reactions or replies, this gives you something close to the "Popular" algorithm used on most community platforms, which surfaces recent posts with more reactions or comments.

But this is pretty limited, and leads to some significant UX problems:

  • It's not possible to "Show More" posts when you get to the end of the post list if there are no more posts from the past 7 or 30 days. The post list just ends, which is an awkward user experience.

  • You can't adjust the cutoff time based on the actual level of activity in your community. If your community is small and only has a few posts per week, it might be better to show posts from the past 14 days. If it grows and has 20+ posts per day, you might only want to show posts from the past few days.

I think the easy fix would be adding more options for the cutoff date, e.g. 1, 2, 3, 7, 10, 14, 20, or 30 days. Which would make it easier to adjust based on community activity.

The nicer solve would probably just be adding a "Popular" sorting method, based on replies and reactions, which sorts posts from all time based on recent popularity.
