Currently, when an image is added to a post, no matter how small the image, it automatically expands to the width of the content box. Many times distorting it to the point of unrecognizable, like this:
Can we change this so the default image size is honored? And then if the default image is larger than the maximum width of the content box, it merely shrinks to fit?
I understand there are best practices in place right now for us to resize images to a max of 1,000 pixels wide, but:
The image, or the concept we are trying to get across, doesn't always lend itself to enlargement
Our members shouldn't be expected to know/follow these best practices
Bonus would be for the members to be able to manually resize by clicking and dragging a corner of the image in and out. 🤩
