I have the comments sorted Oldest First on my discussion pages. This is how things used to be by default prior to an update 8 months ago that changed the default to Newest First. The oldest sort works best for my style of community that has a more conversational workflow.
The problem now is that when you go into a discussion post that is large, you will see the first 10 posts of the entire thread. In order to get down to the latest posts. I need to click on the View more replies. If there are 30+ posts, I need to click that 3 or more times just to get to the latest posts.
The way that this used to behave was that the latest 10 posts were displayed. If I wanted to view older posts on the thread, I would click on the load more (at the top of the comment box) to view the older posts.
Please restore this functionality.
