When you remove the post to archive it, it disappears from the general feed. If you are building a library, it is emptying out the general feed discussion and it looks empty. Additionally, the discussion stops because it is removed from the general feed and they are no longer searchable by tag. The post needs to stay intact like with FB- in the general feed for additional commenting, and the copy in the archive.
