Creating and Adding Tags to Posts
Tags are labels you use to categorize posts by subject within Spaces. This article explains how to add tags to posts, edit existing tags, and delete tags you no longer need.
Adding Tags to Posts
You can add tags to a post when you create it or when you edit an existing post.
To add a tag during post creation or editing:
- Search for the tag you want to add.
- Select an existing tag from the results, or create a new tag by entering its name.
- Click Publish (for new posts) or Update (for existing posts) to save your changes.
Permissions:
- All members can add tags to their own posts.
- Admins and Moderators can edit tags on other members' posts.
Alternative method — Creating tags from Administration:
- Go to Administration > Content > Tags tab.
- Click Add Tag.
Editing and Deleting Tags
Only Admins can edit and delete tags from the Administration panel.
- Log in with your admin account and navigate to Administration (select your profile image in the top header).
- Go to Content > Tags tab.
- Find the tag you want to modify.
- Click the menu icon (...) next to the tag.
- Select Edit Tag or Remove Tag.
- If editing, make your changes and click Update. If deleting, click Remove to confirm.
