How to create, manage, and configure tags

Tags block and managing tags

A tag is an additional tool to organize content in each space. When you select a tag within a space, the space feed filters to show only posts with that tag.

Create tags

You can create tags in two ways:

1. Create the tag inline while composing a post by typing the name and clicking "create...(tag name)".

   

2. Create tags via the admin panel:
   1. Navigate to Administration > Content > Tags
   2. Click Add tag
   3. Enter a title and description
   4. Click Create

   

Edit or delete tags

1. Log in with your admin account and click your profile image in the top header
2. Click Administration
3. In the left sidebar, go to Content > Tags
4. Find the tag you want to modify and click the [...] menu beside it
5. Select Edit Tag or Remove Tag
6. Make your changes and click Update, or click Remove to delete the tag

Configure the tags block

1. Add a tags block to your desired space via the customizer
2. Click the cog icon next to the tags block to access configuration options
3. Enter a title for your tag block (if required)
4. Define the style: choose Cloud or List
5. Choose your filter option:
   • Most popular: Displays the most popular tags on your site. You can select how many tags to display: 3, 5, 10, 15, or 20
   • Specific tags: Select individual tags to display in the block
6. Click Save
