Social Login is a single sign-on for end users. Using existing login information from a social network provider like Facebook, the user can sign into a third-party website instead of creating a new account specifically for that website. This simplifies registrations and logins for end users.
Setup Facebook social login
Log in with your admin account > click on your profile picture > Administration > Settings > Authentication > From the Social Login section, enable the toggle for Login with Facebook.
❗Important note: Currently, Admins cannot use their credentials to set up Login with Facebook.
Connect or disconnect your Facebook social login to/from your profile
Log in to the site > click on your profile picture on top-right > Account Settings > Account > From the Connect Accounts section, click on the available social login option.
After being directed to Facebook’s website, log into the Facebook Account of your choice (If you are not logged in already).
After authentication, the website leads you back to the site account settings with the Facebook option being connected.
Login & register with email
If you want the user to have only the Social login options on the Login and registration page, you need to disable Login & register with email.
To disable this option, click on your profile picture on the top-right > Administration > Settings > Authentication > turn off the toggle for Login & register with email.
