Set up Facebook social login

Social Login is a single sign-on feature for your end users. Instead of creating a new account on your site, users can sign in with their existing credentials from a social network provider like Facebook. This streamlines the registration and login experience.

Set up Facebook social login

  1. Log in with your admin account.
  2. Click your profile picture.
  3. Select Administration > Settings > Authentication.
  4. Under the Social Login section, enable the toggle for Login with Facebook.

Important: Admin accounts cannot currently use their own credentials to set up Login with Facebook.

Connect or disconnect Facebook social login on your profile

  1. Log in to your site.
  2. Click your profile picture in the top right.
  3. Select Account Settings > Account.
  4. In the Connect Accounts section, click the Facebook option.
  5. You'll be redirected to Facebook's website. Log in with the Facebook account you want to connect (if you're not already logged in).
  6. After authentication, you'll be redirected back to your account settings. Facebook is now connected to your profile.

Disable email login and registration

If you want to restrict your users to social login options only, you can disable email-based login and registration.

  1. Click your profile picture in the top right.
  2. Select Administration > Settings > Authentication.
  3. Turn off the toggle for Login & register with email.
