Social Login is a single sign-on for end users. Using existing login information from a social network provider like LinkedIn, the user can sign into a third-party website instead of creating a new account specifically for that website. This simplifies registrations and logins for end users.
Setup LinkedIn social login
Log in with your admin account > click on your profile picture > Administration > Settings > Authentication > From the Social Login section, enable the toggle for Login with LinkedIn.
Congratulations! LinkedIn Social Login is now enabled.
❗Note: Currently, Admins cannot use their own credentials to set up Login with LinkedIn. However, this is an option we're planning for the future.
Connect or disconnect your LinkedIn social login to/from your profile
Log in to the site > click on your profile picture on top-right > Account Settings > Account > From the Connect Accounts section, click on the available social login option.
After being directed to the LinkedIn website, log into your LinkedIn Account and select the account that has the same e-mail address.
After authentication, the website leads back to the site and displays something similar to the screenshot below.
Login & register with email
If you want the user to have only the Social login options on the Login and registration page, you need to disable Login & register with email.
To disable this option, click on your profile picture on the top-right > Administration > Settings > Authentication > turn off the toggle for Login & register with email.
