Suspending a member's account

Admins and Moderators can suspend a member's account to terminate their access to the community account temporarily or permanently.

❗ Note: You cannot suspend Admins and Moderators

How suspending a member works

• Only admins can suspend members.

• Admins can revoke suspension at any time.

• Once a member is suspended:

  • Their posts remain in the community as is.

  • They will be logged out from the community.

  • They won't be able to log in to the community.

  • They will be removed from the search results.

  • They won't receive any notifications from the community.

How admins can suspend members

Admins can suspend members right from their profile page or from the Administration page.

1. Suspend member from profile page:

   1. Log in with your admin account

   2. Navigate to the member's profile page

   3. Click (...) on the top-right

   4. Select "Suspend member"

2. Suspend members from the administration page:

   1. Log in with your admin account

   2. Navigate to the Administration > People > Members

   3. Search for the member and click on the (...) in front of the user's row

   4. Select "Suspend member"

3. Bulk Suspending Members:

   • Log in with your admin account

   • Navigate to the Administration > People > Members

   • Use the "Add filter" to bulk-select members

   • Click the "Actions" for bulk-suspending all the selected members
