All-new reports and analytics

Released on June 30th, 2022

Today we’re launching an upgraded reporting feature to bring community analytics to life in an entirely new way. With our faster data collection capabilities and easier interface, you can quickly see how things are going for the community as well as dig deep into the specific areas of the community.

This video features our former brand, Tribe. Since then, Tribe has undergone a rebrand and is now known as Bettermode.

Here are the highlights of the upgraded reports:

  • 30+ metrics with a breakdown of everything important to your community

  • Reports segmented into Overview, Reach & Engagement, People, Posts, and Spaces

  • The Overview section gives a bird’s-eye view of the community. Understand member growth, active members trend, page views, top posts, top members, and top Spaces.

  • The Reach & engagement section helps you learn more about activities in the community, page views, unique visits, and popular days and hours.

  • People reports enable you to visualize new member growth and active member growth trends. The tabular view shows top members by post, replies, and reactions.

  • The Posts section shows trends related to posts, replies, and reactions.

  • The Spaces section gives a tabular view of top Spaces in terms of posts, views, and members.

  • All the reports can be further narrowed down using timeframe filters such as All time, Last 12 months, Last 90 days, Last 28 days, and Last 7 days.

Key questions to answer and actions to take

  • Are new members increasing or decreasing over time? Is the growth rate in line with the expectation? If the new members are decreasing, you need to find out potential reasons and find solutions (for example, making the community easily accessible).

  • Which is the most popular day of the week and hour of the day? You can plan important announcements using this insight.

  • Find out the top members of the community in terms of contribution and see if you can work with them for an MVP program.

  • It will be also interesting to compare the top members by the number of posts and the top members by reactions. See if you can nudge certain members who are only reacting to become contributors as well.

  • Look into the top posts by views and replies to see if you need to make any changes to the content or even your products/services. Understand which posts are most sought-after in your community.
