Starting now, all our paid users can enjoy the benefits of automatically generated sitemaps. A sitemap is like a roadmap for search engines, helping them find and index your site's content more efficiently. This means better visibility and higher search rankings for your pages.
How Does It Work?
For any public site on Bettermode that isn’t hidden from search engines, a sitemap is automatically created at the URL site.com/sitemap.xml. This main sitemap includes links to individual sitemaps for each public space on your site.

1. Improved SEO: With up-to-date sitemaps, search engines can quickly discover new and updated content, boosting your site's SEO.
2. Automatic Updates: Any changes to your spaces and posts are instantly reflected in the sitemaps, ensuring search engines always have the latest information.
3. Seamless Integration: No need for manual toggles—public items are included automatically unless marked as hidden from search engines.
How to Use It:
To make the most of this feature, follow these simple steps:
1. Find Your Sitemap URL:
- Go to your site's settings and navigate to the SEO settings section for general site settings or individual space settings.
- Look for the sitemap URL in the SEO settings.
- Alternatively, you can simply add sitemap.xml to the end of your network URL or space URL (e.g., yoursite.com/sitemap.xml).
2. Submit Your Sitemap:
- Add the sitemap URL to the search engine console of your choice (e.g., Google Search Console).
