Businesses are always looking to improve customer experience (CX) and implement security best practices. A critical part of CX and security is handled by Single Sign-On (SSO), an identification system that allows websites and apps to verify users using a single set of credentials stored in a trusted source.
It eliminates password fatigue, improves identity protection, and offers an easy login experience to the users. You can also bring these benefits to your online community through an SSO provider.
Bettermode recognizes that there are different SSO providers, and we're expanding the support for these providers.
Learn about the new SSO providers available with Bettermode:
Auth0 SSO
Auth0 is well-known for its developer-centric approach. It was built by a team of developers for developers with a focus on extensibility and easy integration.
Implementing Auth0 with Bettermode is straightforward. This SSO system can be set up simply by generating a set of authentication credentials via Auth0 and adding the same in the community.

Okta SSO
Okta SSO places a strong focus on Enterprise SSO and reduces complexity by offering tools that consolidate a company's different login systems into one set of credentials.
Similar to Auth0, Okta SSO implementation for Bettermode is simple. The setup process involves copying a set of authentication credentials created in Okta and pasting the same in the community.

WordPress SSO
WordPress is a popular open-source content management system that helps businesses build corporate sites, blogs, e-commerce stores, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and more. For instance, WordPress-based plugins such as WooCommerce, MemberPress, and LearnDash enable businesses to create online shopping sites, membership sites, and online courses.
Irrespective of the use case, websites built using WordPress can be easily integrated with the login system of communities powered by Bettermode. This way, the end-users with login credentials for a website running on WordPress can use the same credentials to log in to the community.

Custom SSO
When a business relies on a custom identity provider and needs to comply with legacy systems, Custom SSO is a logical solution. The Bettermode Platform also supports this approach.
