HubSpot integration

HubSpot integration allows you to combine HubSpot's powerful CRM platform and your Bettermode community to better engage your members. The following data points can be synced between HubSpot and the community:

  • Member properties: The community member properties will be synced as HubSpot contact properties.

  • Member activities: The community member activities will be added as activities to the HubSpot contact activity.

    • Member joined the community

    • Post published

    • Member joined space

    • Member left space

  • Space membership: When members join different Spaces, the Space membership data will be synced with a HubSpot contact property named as "Spaces".

This video features our former brand, Tribe. Since then, Tribe has undergone a rebrand and is now known as Bettermode.

Update: With the recent improvement, clients can now seamlessly sync their members' data retroactively, eliminating the need for manual synchronization. Previously, we needed to manually add the members that joined community before we switched on the Integration.

Popular use cases to help you get started:

Workflow automation: Set up automation to send an email to your contacts based on the Spaces they join. Here are a few examples:

  • When a member joins a Space for the most loyal customers, workflow automation will be triggered so you can send an email with a welcome note.

  • When a community member synced with HubSpot doesn't create a post, workflow automation will be triggered to send a message to encourage the member to contribute to the community.

  • You can also send monthly newsletters to community members by curating some of the most popular discussions in the community.

Segmentation: Use the member properties as well as their activities within the community and combine them with other data points collected in HubSpot to build granular contact lists.
