Over the years, we've had requests from bilingual and multilingual communities to support multiple languages. We are excited to be currently working on this capability for the member-facing portion of Bettermode.
The multilingual feature for our member-facing user interface allows for the support of different languages. Community admins have the ability to select the default language for their community, and community members can set their preferred language in their account settings to ensure they can comfortably interact with the community in their preferred language. Posts written in a language other than the member's preferred language will have an icon to automatically translate the post into their preferred language.
Overall, this multilingual feature is an important tool for fostering inclusivity and accessibility within online communities. It allows members to communicate and interact in their preferred language, which can help create a more welcoming and engaging experience for all community members.
Note: Text defined by admins within the community, such as name of Spaces, or texts used within blocks, etc. will have multilingual capability in future releases.
