Admins can control whether members can post in a Space and whether they can react to posts. While Spaces typically encourage community interaction, there are cases where admins may want to limit or disable member engagement in certain Spaces.
Configure posting permissions
Follow these steps to configure who can post, reply, and react in a Space:
Log in with your admin account.
In the top header, click your profile image and select Administration.
Go to Content > Spaces tab.
Find the Space you want to edit, click the menu icon [...], and select Settings.
On the Space Settings page, select the CMS Models tab.
Enable CMS models and configure the permissions below.
Permission options
For each CMS model, you can define the following permissions:
Who can post? Choose who can create new posts in this Space:
All members
Space members, space admins, and staff
Space admins and staff
Nobody
Who can reply? Choose who can reply to posts in this Space:
All members
Space members, space admins, and staff
Space admins and staff
Nobody
Who can react? Choose who can react to posts in this Space:
All members
Space members, space admins, and staff
Space admins and staff

Important notes
Default permissions vary by Space template. The default post permissions may differ depending on which Space template you selected during Space creation.
Moderators and Space Admins are exempt from posting restrictions. Moderators and Space Admins can always post and comment, regardless of the posting permission settings you configure.
