Track user activities using the Amplitude app
Amplitude is a comprehensive analytics platform that allows you to track up to 10 million user actions per month on the free plan. Bettermode's integration with Amplitude enables you to measure granular metrics for your site and create powerful reports by analyzing user behavior data.
What you can do with Bettermode and Amplitude
Once integrated, Bettermode sends user activities and user properties to your Amplitude account. You can use this data to:
- Evaluate the growth of active users (for example, Daily Active Users)
- Measure member stickiness and retention
- Create reports on content generation, such as posts and replies
- Create activation funnels based on a series of member actions
- Track how members progress through different lifecycle stages
- Create different member segments for targeted analysis
- Analyze conversion funnels and retention patterns
Before you start
You need an Amplitude API Key to set up the integration. If you don't have one, follow the Amplitude documentation to create your organization and first project.
Enable the Amplitude app
- Install the Amplitude app on your site. See how to install and uninstall apps on Bettermode for instructions.
- Once installed, an empty configuration box appears. Paste your Amplitude API Key into the field.
- Click Save Settings.
- After you save, Bettermode begins sending user activities and properties to your Amplitude account. Data collection starts immediately.

- Send To Moderation

User properties sent to Amplitude
Bettermode sends the following user properties to Amplitude:
- user_id
- user_role
