Admins can take action on many posts at once to make community management much easier. Admins can also apply some filters to narrow down the results and target the group of posts faster.
Bulk Actions on Posts
Log in with your admin account
Navigate to Administration > Content > Posts
Select the post type (or all post types) and "Add filter" to narrow down the selected posts
Click the "Actions" button and take one of the available actions on all the selected posts
Move to space: move all the selected posts to a specific space.
If the post types for the selected posts are not supported in the destination space, those posts do not move to the new space. Once the action is completed, a banner message will appear indicating how many selected posts failed to move.
Soon, we will be working on an advanced “Post Conversion” feature that enables admins to move posts with different post types.
Hide: Hide all the selected posts.
Delete: Permanently remove all the selected posts from the community. This action is not reversible.
Add tag / Remove tag: Update the tags assigned to the selected posts.
Lock: Members cannot react to the posts which are locked
Change author: This is very helpful when you want to remove a user from the community and you want all their posts to be moved to someone else's account beforehand.
Change publish time: This is helpful for back-dating many posts at once.
Bulk Actions Limits
Only 1 mass action can be going at a time
If there is an ongoing mass action on the member's page or the post page, the admin will see a banner message indicating they should wait for this action to get completed before initiating a new action.
In each community, 40 mass actions can be done per day:
This includes the mass actions of the members and posts.
Regardless of how many users or posts will be affected by each mass action that you initiate, each community can run 40 mass actions each day.
