How to perform bulk actions on posts

Bulk Actions on Posts

As an admin, you can perform actions on multiple posts at once to streamline community management. You can also apply filters to narrow down results and target specific groups of posts more efficiently.

How to perform bulk actions

  1. Log in with your admin account
  2. Navigate to Administration > Content > Posts
  3. Select the post type (or all post types) and use "Add filter" to narrow down the posts you want to target
  4. Click the "Actions" button and select the action you want to apply to all selected posts

Available bulk actions

Move to space
Move all selected posts to a specific space.
  • If the post types of the selected posts are not supported in the destination space, those posts will not move. You'll see a banner message indicating how many posts failed to move.
  • A Post Conversion feature for moving posts with different post types is under consideration for future development.
Hide
Hide all selected posts from your community.
Delete
Permanently remove all selected posts from your community. This action cannot be reversed.
Add tag / Remove tag
Update the tags assigned to selected posts.
Lock
Locked posts prevent members from reacting. Members cannot comment on locked posts either.
Change author
Reassign posts to a different author. This is useful when removing a user from your community and you want their posts transferred to another account first.
Change publish time
Modify the publication date of selected posts. This is helpful for back-dating multiple posts at once.

Bulk Actions Limits

Concurrent actions

Only one bulk action can run at a time per community. If a bulk action is already in progress on the members page or posts page, you'll see a banner message asking you to wait for it to complete before starting a new action.

Daily action limit

Each community can perform a maximum of 40 bulk actions per day. This limit includes:

  • Bulk actions on members and invitations
  • Bulk actions on posts

The limit applies to the total number of actions initiated, regardless of how many users or posts are affected by each action.
