Receive site notifications using the Discord app
As an admin or moderator, you can receive notifications from your site directly inside Discord using Bettermode's Discord app. You can configure notifications for your entire site or for selected Spaces.
Activities that trigger Discord notifications
- New posts and replies
- Posts flagged for moderation
- Posts accepted or rejected from the moderation panel
- Requests to join a Space and approval or rejection decisions
- New members joining your site
- Sent email invitations for joining your site

- You can connect multiple communities or site Spaces to one Discord channel
- You can connect one site Space to multiple Discord channels
How to enable the Discord app
- Install the app by following the steps in How to install and uninstall apps on Bettermode.
- Once installed, go to the app settings tab and click Connect to Discord.
- Select a specific Space to receive notifications from, or leave the field empty to receive notifications from your entire site. Click Connect to Discord. If you are not already logged in to Discord, this will redirect you to the Discord login page.
- After logging in to Discord, you will be prompted to select the server and Discord channel where you want to receive site notifications.
- Once connected, your Discord channel will appear in the app settings. From here, you can:
- Remove a connection
- Edit an existing connection
- Add more connections by clicking Connect to Discord again
