Overview
The questions post type enables your members to ask questions and upvote on existing ones. This gives you direct visibility into which questions matter most to your community, helping you identify knowledge gaps and prioritize content. Members can reply to questions to share their own experiences, creating a collaborative knowledge base.
Available Fields
- Title — the question headline
- Content — supports text, images, videos, audio, and attachments
- Assignee — visible to admins only
- Resolved / Unresolved toggle — mark a question as resolved when addressed
- Tags — organize and categorize questions
Adding Content to Questions
In the content field, you can insert multiple media types. Use either the toolbar icons or slash commands:
/image— add images/video— add videos/audio— add audio files/attachment— add file attachments
Engagement Features
- Upvotes — members vote on questions to show interest and priority
- Replies — members can comment on questions. This post type does not support nested replies; all comments appear as direct replies to the question
