Key Features
Custom Timeframe Selection
You can select a custom timeframe when analyzing a member's activities. This flexibility is useful for tracking specific periods such as events, campaigns, or general member engagement trends over time.
How to select a custom timeframe
- Open Member Analytics from the member's profile or the Members tab in the Administration panel.
- Use the date picker at the top right of the modal to choose your timeframe. Select from predefined options like "Last 7 days" or "Last 30 days", or define your own custom range.
- The analytics update automatically to reflect the selected period.
Understanding comparison indicators: Arrows and numbers (displayed in green or red) beside data points compare the current timeframe to the previous one. For example, red text indicating a 50% decrease in new posts means the member created 50% fewer posts in the current timeframe than in the previous timeframe.
Page Views
This metric tracks the number of pages viewed by the member within the selected timeframe. It's a key indicator of how deeply a member engages with your content.
New Posts
You can see how many new posts a member created during the selected timeframe. This metric measures a member's direct contributions to your site.
Score
Your platform includes a leaderboard feature that assigns scores based on user activities such as posting, reacting, and commenting. Member Analytics displays the leaderboard score earned during the selected timeframe, giving you insight into a member's contribution level relative to others on the site.
Activities
This dashboard displays the total number of activities performed by the member, including posts, replies, and reactions within the chosen timeframe.
New Activities (Broken Down by Type)
To understand member behavior more deeply, view activities categorized by type:
- Posts: Number of new posts created by the member
- Replies: Number of replies or comments made on existing posts or replies
- Reactions: Number of reactions (likes, upvotes, etc.) given to community content
Page Views (Daily)
You can view a daily breakdown of the member's page views within the selected timeframe. This reveals which specific days had the highest engagement.
Activity Over Time (Daily)
Total activity is broken down by day and activity type within the selected timeframe. This helps you spot engagement patterns and identify the member's most active days.
Popular Days of the Week
This metric shows the most popular days of the week for the member based on page views within the selected timeframe. Understanding when a member is most engaged helps you optimize content publishing and member outreach efforts.
Popular Hours of the Day
Page views are also broken down by the most active hours of the day within the selected timeframe. This helps you identify when members are most likely to be online and viewing content, which is useful for timing posts and announcements to maximize visibility.
